water well testing / system inspections

realestate well tests

Purchasing a Property with a Water Well?
Make sure you know exactly what you're getting. Contact us to schedule a water well production test to assess both the quality and quantity of the well’s output.

Production testing is an essential step in evaluating the health and long-term viability of a water well. These tests are conducted for residential, commercial, and oilfield applications.

Tests can range in duration—2 hours up to 72 hours—depending on your needs. All drawdown and recovery data is precisely measured and recorded. For long-term monitoring, electronic transducers are used to ensure accurate readings.

Why Get a Water Well Inspection?

A comprehensive water well inspection is a critical step to ensure the ongoing safety and functionality of your property's water system. Consider the following benefits:

  • Assured Safety and Potability: Confirm that your drinking water is safe and clean for you and your family.
  • Insight into Well and Equipment Condition: Gain a clear understanding of the overall condition of your well and its associated conditioning equipment, helping you to avoid surprises down the road.
  • Prevent Unexpected Expenditures: Identify potential issues before purchasing or after the property transfer, thereby avoiding unforeseen repair costs.
  • Peace of Mind: Enjoy the confidence that comes with knowing your water supply is in good working order, ensuring long-term reliability and security.

Types of Inspections
We offer several levels of well inspection services, tailored to meet your specific needs. Each inspection includes a professional assessment and a detailed report of findings.

  1. Visual Walk-Through
    Cost: Starting at $150
A general visual inspection of the well, conditioning equipment, and fittings. We check for visible issues such as rust, leaks, worn or outdated components, and overall system condition.
Includes: On-site inspection and a written report.

  2. Equipment & Water Quality Test
    Cost: Starting at $450
A more in-depth inspection that includes a visual assessment of the well system and a water quality analysis. This test confirms potability and helps identify appropriate filtration or treatment options if needed.
Includes: Visual inspection, water sample collection and lab analysis, and a detailed report.

  3. Equipment, Water Quality & Production Test
    Cost: Starting at $900
A comprehensive inspection including visual equipment checks, water quality analysis, and a flow (production) test to determine the well’s output rate. This test is ideal for evaluating the overall health and performance of the well system.
Includes: Visual inspection, water quality testing, flow/production testing, and a complete report of findings.

oilfield well testing

Oilfield Water Well Testing Services
M&M Pumps offers specialized water well testing services tailored to the oilfield industry. These services are adaptable to project-specific needs and may include both pre- and post-drilling evaluations to monitor potential impacts on nearby water wells.

We conduct quality and quantity testing to establish a reliable baseline before drilling and to detect any changes in water production or quality after operations begin. The pre-test documents initial well conditions, while the post-test helps identify any shifts in performance, ensuring accountability and environmental stewardship.
